Hey RoshamFAM!
So... a lot of people have been asking us when we'll be back on the road. We're still not totally sure. Routing tours usually has it's own set of challenges but with States having their own individual mandates or restrictions (or lack of them), routing regional/multi-regional tours can feel like each show is in a different country, lol.
HOWEVER, we are playing an exclusive, outdoor & unplugged show for the people that have continued to support us throughout all of this, this Friday. We're only letting members of the RoshamFAM know about it but if you'd like to get the details you can join our Facebook group HERE.

Funny story: As you might already know, we've been taking song requests on our Patreon and Exclusive Access pages every month and turning them into performance music videos. So far we've done Black Crowes, Ted Nugent, Bob Segar, Rage Against The Machine, The Animals, Counting Crows, Prince and new this month: Duran Duran. The truth is neither of us really like Duran Duran but when our patron Nadia M requested it we wanted to give it a try. Come to find out Nadia's husband hacked her account to request the song (she's not a big fan of Duran Duran either)! We all had a big laugh but you know what? We have a new appreciation for Duran Duran's songwriting. We think this is our favorite so far!
What's Up With J...
This week I can officially say I'm 30lbs lighter. This marks one month of the daily walks and one meal a day style eating habits. So grateful for the support and encouraging words I've received from all of you and am excited to see where this takes me. It has been a huge lifestyle change but somehow feels so familiar. Most of these things (daily walks, healthier relationships with food, daily meditation and ritual) are all things that I let myself dispose of earlier in life without realizing it. Our happiness comes from within. Our joy comes from within. I'm truly realizing how important it is to take care of our selves and study what it is that makes us human. We must not extract from the world our needs. It is our responsibility to create. On a lighter note, I'm excited to say we finally have a show lined up for this week. I'm excited to be able to perform some of our new material and honestly excited to be able to see some of you. For those of you in the RoshamFAM you'll be able to get all the details from the group post. I'm also planning to shoot a new cooking with J episode soon. I'll keep everyone in the loop the best I can. As always, to anyone who reads this I love you very much! -J

What's Up With Kyle...
Y'all ever get Dejavu? When I was a teenager I knew I wanted to play music for a living but I wasn't really sure how to go about it. Out of high school, I remember going over with my guidance counselor what I wanted to do and we'd both scratch our heads when trying to find a major that fit with my plans. I wanted to get into audio engineering but the University only offered Brodcasting, Journalism and Communications (I went with Communications and it was one of the best decisions I ever made but that's another story).
After a few semesters I found an opportunity for an internship at a small recording studio in Northeast GA that was getting a few cool jobs. I decided to pack up and go for it singing lyrics, "Sometimes you gotta leave your life behind if you wanna find it," which turned into a song called "Fly away" I ended up recording with J a few years later when we were first figuring things out.
This week, a friend of mine invested in some home recording equipment and I got to go hang out and help him set it up. It reminded me of when I first moved to Georgia from Wisconsin, which seems like a lifetime ago. I was new to recording but I knew I wanted to figure it out. I was reminded at how much there is to know and how much I still have to learn.
Life is intimidating when you're not sure what to do or how to do it. Someone told me once, "When life is overwhelming you don't lack time. You lack clarity." It's easy to change the oil in your car with little time and effort if you know how. However, if you've never done it before and you're all by yourself without the right wrench, it'll take you forever. I think most things in life are like that. We beat ourselves up when we don't know how to do something when it seems like other people are killing it. You have to go for it, make mistakes and recognize when you are. Doing the same thing (or more of the same thing) that doesn't work will drive you insane. Learn from people that are equipped. Don't be afraid to ask for help or to do a little digging. You got this!
-Kyle
