This EP came out as a result of the 2020 Covid 19 Quarantines. We'd cancelled 8 weeks of our Spring Tour in an effort to help flatten the curve of this global pandemic. Now even farther into it, we're still very unsure what the future looks like for our careers as independent touring artists (as the road generates about 90% of our income). We're overwhelmed by your continued support. This EP is for you because without you we wouldn't have been able to make it. We hope it gives your mind some ease. We imagine ourselves listening to it on a dark lonely road on the way to see you. We know that one day in the future we'll be able to. We love you. We miss you.

The Recording Session
We got word that our home state of Georgia would be under a "Shelter in Place" starting at 6pm the following day about halfway through tracking.
We knew we'd either have to finish in one day or hunker down in the studio for awhile...

Deciding on details: mics, set list etc in the main engineering room at The Maelstrom Studio
Caffeine is a must... other substances are optional.
Normally we record just the two of us but having another engineer really helped us stay focused on just the music.

With a totally unplugged recording you have to set things just right and remember your positioning so the takes sound like your sound check
