Hey RoshamFAM!
We just wrapped shooting our music video for this month's request on Patreon! Every month we reimagine a cover song requested by one of our supporters on Patreon. This one was a lot of fun to work on and we think it turned out great!

A New Type of Podcast!
We started our weekly podcast "Van Philosophy," to recreate our long and random conversations after a show to help us stay awake until we got to the next town. Now that we're getting back on the road, we decided to let you in on a more authentic version of our podcast called "Van Philosophy: In The Van." Thanks Steve B on Patreon for suggesting this topic! It helped keep us awake! You can hear the podcast right now on Patreon.
Tune In This Thursday!
Is playing games like Magic The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, listening to Rock N Roll and reading Harry Potter books Satanic? Where did these ideas come from? Being musicians, we were always fascinated by the idea that playing Led Zeppelin backwards could summon a demon. Is it real? Has it happened before? Let's find out together on Thursday for episode 33: Satanic Panic!
What's Up With Kyle...
We finished shooting this month's cover song request this week. If I'm being perfectly honest I never really liked this song. I never quite understood the lyrics and thought it was a little "hokey." When we were going over the suggestions this one popped up and I wasn't sure if we could come up with a good way to make it our own. I went and looked up the lyrics and it spoke to me. I was really surprised.
A lot of the lyrics in our original music is a warning of how the world can be and how you can get caught up in things that will wreck your life if you let them: being a follower when you should be a leader, doing the wrong thing because you think you'll look cool, keeping bad habits and people in your life because it's all know and being afraid of you'll be without them. Every day is a nice day for something. It an be a nice day to keep your head down and go along with things. It can be a nice day to ignore what's slowly killing you. It can be a nice day to settle because it's safe. However, after giving this song another look and listen, reminded me that every day can be a nice day to start again. It's ironic, that trying to reimagine this song gave me some trouble in the beginning and I had to start over with my parts a few times but now I think it's going to be one of my favorites. Life is like that. It's easy to feel stuck when you go forcing something when it's just not right. It's true: You will lose time when you start over but you will net a whole lot more in the long run if you stop hurrying a lot and worrying a lot. It's important to ask yourself what you really, really want... because when it's over, that's the time you'll fall in love again.
P.S. yes, there's a bunch of song lyrics in this post and one of them is from this month's cover but you'll have to go check out Patreon at patreon.com/roshambeaux to find out for sure. Does that make me a bad guy?... duh!
-Kyle
What's Up With J...
I've been working every day this week to get the new cover video finished up. I've been doing some pretty cool stuff with it and can't wait to share it with you. If you aren't on Patreon yet, now is a great time to consider joining us. Requests for the next one will be open soon. This next one will be posting before the end of the week. I've also ordered some items to help with the technical difficulties we had the other weekend. For you tech junkies: I'll be routing my monitors to an external preamp to the side of the kit. It's kinda funny how few single IEM boxes are actually stereo. I'm so glad I found one for a reasonable price. I'll be getting all that set up, along with consolidating a snake for all the cables ran from our on stage mixer to my station. I'm pretty excited and it should allow for set up to be even more stream lined. I hope you guys have had a good week and enjoy your weekend. I'll be playing in the MTG Neon Dynasty prerelease this Friday and highly look forward to that. Hope I get some sweet pulls. Take care my friends and as always.....to anyone who reads this I love you very much. -J
Listen On Spotify...
Spotify has been a little controversial lately sighting unfair royalties and artists demanding other artists be removed. Our experience has been very positive and it helps us a lot when you listen. While it's true, royalties are very low, if you follow us and listen to us regularly on Spotify it evens out to the equivalent of you buying a record over time. So don't feel guilty if you haven't bought the new album yet. Listen to it and our other projects on Spotify. It adds up!
Official Roshambeaux Merch!
One of the best things someone ever said to us before a show was "I don't care if the music ends up sucking, I want one of those tee shirts!" We'd say you should get one because you like our music but we won't mind if you just get one because you like the way it looks. After all, what you wear is about you being you. You can find a way to express yourself at storefrontier.com/roshambeaux
