What's Up With J...
It’s been a busy week. Kyle and I have been grinding away trying to prepare new guitar tones with his upgraded guitar rig. It's very exciting how the tones sound but can be kinda stressful trying to get everything just right. We have to remind ourselves to have fun with it. But sitting back today thinking we are finally fully upgraded with our live gear is something I didn't think I'd ever see. We now both have the exact pieces we've been wanting for a long time and I truly am grateful to have it. I know it sounds kinda silly but growing up not having a whole lot, dreaming of a future where I'd have certain gear available to create and perform with, makes me so proud to be where we are now. We get to perform with everything all together for the first time this weekend in Midtown. We couldn't be more excited and hope to see you guys out there. It's gonna be a blast. I'm sure we will continue to fine tune and tweak things but that's just the journey. I had a good friend tell me once "It's about the journey, man, not the end of the road." So true. As always, to anyone who reads this......I love you very much.

What's Up With Kyle...
My brain hurts! If you've seen me this week you may have noticed I've been in a little bit of a fog but I couldn't be happier about it.
When I was younger I remember hearing some advice that I've always tried to keep with me. "Never Quit School." It's the idea that there is always something to learn, even long after you've turned the tassel and decided what you want to do for a career. The universe is accelerating and if you don't accelerate along with it, you'll be stuck in the past like a star that's dead... you just don't know it yet.
I've toured with the same guitar rig for almost 6 years and the time has finally arrived to call it quits. Not, with playing music but retiring the old rig. It's seen a lot of cities, been on a lot of stages, had a lot of beer spilled on it and has probably had more electricity ran through it than it was made for. It's like saying goodbye to a good friend but I hope it finally can enjoy some rest. The new rig sounds incredible! I forgot how much work it is, setting tones with new gear (especially with electronic music). I’m really glad J is here to help. I've had to go back and research a lot of things I haven't had to think about in awhile. I've been diving into a lot of signal chain set up/theory this week, staring at RTAs, VU meters and digital assign matrices. And yes, that makes my head hurt reading that too. However, I have a huge smile on my face and I can't wait for you to hear this stuff.
