Hey RoshamFAM!
This week we finished filming our latest cover music video! Every month we take requests on learning a new cover. Once all the requests are in we sit down and decide which one we think we can pull off in our style. We've had some crazy ones come in over the last year. It's been a lot of fun getting the opportunity to put our spin on some of your favorite songs. It's also helping us frame up our live show for the next tour as soon as we're able to resume. So if you have any ideas on a song you'd like us to make our own let us know in the comment section at the bottom of the page. We always let our supporters on Patreon and Exclusive Access have priority, so if you're itching to hear your song request and want to support your favorite rocktronic duo in the process, hit us up on Patreon. Just $5 a month gets you access to all the cover videos and priority on your ideas!
Here's a peak at last month's request...
It's always a lot of fun when you find a cool music venue and the band there plays a song you requested. We wanted to make sure you can get that experience even though not a lot of bands have resumed touring. So go ahead, make a request!
What's Up With J...
This week has been creation nation in my world. Song production, video shooting, video editing, some bead work, and a few hand sewing projects has really been keeping me busy. Just like many of you this past week was the first week of lawn maintenance for me as well. There is something super zen and gratifying about it. So grateful to be able to have the opportunity to work on all of these things. Kyle has been trying to talk me into putting some of the bead work I've been doing up on our website. Let me know if you guys have any interest in something like that. Also, finally got our taxes done for last year. That's a huge weight lifted. We've got plenty of things in the works for you guys and the new cover video I should have finished in a couple days. Really pumped with all the footage we got for it. Hope all of you are having a great week and are able to take some time out for yourself to create and love yourself. And as always, to anyone that reads this...I love you very much! -J

I think one of the greatest feelings in the world is talking to someone you haven't talked to in a long time and you're able to pick up right where you left off. There's no awkward small talk, there's no fear of judgement or worrying about what you'll say. The conversation just flows naturally, like you haven't spent a day apart.
A childhood friend sent me a message the other day just to check in. Every once in awhile someone will reach out and the conversation is a little clunky. We have have to tip toe around each other for fear that one of us has dramatically changed and we might have to watch what we say.
It wasn't like this with this friend, even though we hadn't talked in 10 years or more. We caught up quickly on the minor details of what life's been like but we instantly went back to being teenagers. After school, almost everyday we'd meet up with our acoustic guitars and jam. When I was younger, I struggled a lot with self confidence and was always hesitant to play songs I wrote in front of my friends. However, I could hardly wait until school was out to show him what I was working on. I don't remember any of those songs or conversations but I always felt safe. I always felt honored. I wasn't sure if he knew that so I tried to made a point to thank him for it. Honestly, I was sorry it took that long.
When you lay a good foundation, what you build lasts. One of the greatest people I ever met said, "No one ever remembers what you say or what you do but they will never forget how you make them feel." How you make people feel matters. It's what starts meaningful relationships. I was reminded of that this week. You may not see how you change someone's life for the better right away. It may take years for someone to say thanks. Don't let it stop you. It's worth it. It takes everything you have to genuinely love your neighbor but it takes almost nothing to be kind. You can yell and scream all you want but your message will drown in the well of others' feelings. Your words will eventually mean nothing either way but your presence means everything.
-Kyle
